Shinias Wetland - Athens

Shinias wetland is only 40 km away from the center of Athens. It is one of Greece's Important Bird Areas (IBA) and NATURA2000 protected site. Also consider a National Park. The birds I have observed since October 2004 are listed below. For more details and pics, please visit http://www.geocities.com/alcyonweb/index.html
