Short-toed Eagle & Penduline Tit's nest @ Shinias Wetland

On Saturday, June 18th 2005, the trip started with a Short-toed Eagle taking off from the reeds, carrying a snake in its mouth. The area is now very dry. There were almost no waders... However, in the wet parts, there are still about 100 Black-winged Stilts, more than 20 Little Grebes with their chicks, 3 Grey Herons, and about 20 Little Egrets.
