Spotted Eagle is back in Schinias National Park, Athens!

Spotted Eagle is back in Schinias National Park (ATHENS), for a third consecutive winter. It usually comes by mid November and leaves in March. It is often observed soaring high, over the other raptors, such as the Buzzards and the Marsh Harriers.
The new observatories provide excellent views of the raptor's flights.

The observations for Sunday, Dec 17th are:
Little Grebe, Great Cormorant (2), Grey Heron (14) , Mute Swan (1), Common Teal, Pochard, Shoveler, Pintail, Mallard, Ferruginous Duck (12), Goldeneye, Marsh Harrier, Buzzard, Spotted Eagle, Hen Harrier, Coot, Moorhen, Water Rail, Green Sandpiper, Redshank, Snipe, Yellow-legged Gull, Collared Dove, Kingfisher, White Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, Meadow Pipit, Blackbird, Cetti's Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Sardinian Warbler, Robin, Black Redstart, House Sparrow, Magpie, Chaffinch, Siskin, Reed Bunting, Corn Bunting
