Schinias National Park (Athens)

Schinias National Park is now full of migrants. A short trip provided 46 species,
with highlights like Hobby (1), Sparrowhawk (1), Little Egrets (20), Purple Heron (1), Ferruginous Duck (6) Snipe (3), Black-winged Stilt, (30), Black-tailed Godwit (2), Black-eared Wheatear, Collared Flycatcher (1). Surprisingly, there were not so many raptors such as Buzzards and Marsh Harriers.

Little Grebe, Little Egret, Purple Heron, Mallard, Shoveler, Teal, Garganey, Ferruginous Duck, Marsh Harrier, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Hobby, Water Rail, Moorhen, Coot, Black-winged Stilt, Little Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Little Stint, Wood Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Snipe, Ruff, Yellow-legged Gull, Collared Dove, Hoopoe, Crested Lark, Barn Swallow, House Martin, Yellow Wagtail, Wheatear, Black-eared Wheatear, Whinchat, Stonechat, Blackcap, Sardinian Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, Short-toed Treecreeper, Magpie, House Sparrow, Goldfinch, Corn Bunting, Hooded Crow
