In a very hot day, indeed, Schinias wetland once again was full of activity: Black-winged Stilts were everywhere on the marsh, Little Egrets, Squacco Herons, Night Herons and Little Bitterns, Olivaceous Warblers were frequent sights, while Ferruginous Ducks were flying from one canal to another. A total of 39 species was recorded.The full list of observed birds follows:
