Among the pipits of Europe, the Tawny is the most common summer visitor in Greece. It's fairly common in the wetlands of Greece but it's not confined to low altitude areas, as one can see breeding birds in the alpine zones of the highest mountains. Fortunately I didn't have to go that high to take this shot! This bird was seen in Evros Delta along with Yellow Wagtails.
