Moulting Shoveler

This "wannabe" adult male Shoveler Anas clypeata - Χουλιαρόπαπια, was seen in a rather unusual habitat. It may look like a pond or a lake but it's just a flooded field in Vravrona wetland. This particular spot hosts a lot of waders and herons in spring, and it's one of the most easy places to see basking Balkan Terrapins.
