The magic trees of fall

Pistachio and Turpentine trees (Pistacia palestina & P.terebinthus respectively) are one of the most important food sources for small passerines during autumn migration. It is the time when their fruits rippen, providing energy for long-distance travellers.

Sylvia warblers like this Blackcap are the most common visitors

Even Spotted Flycatchers visit these trees

Among the less common visitors, Red-breasted Flycatchers are regular
