Dalmatian Pelicans were frequent visitors of Mesolonghi lagoons, but there wasn't any sign of breeding. That changed last year when a small colony of these rare and endangered birds was found! This is just the fourth breeding site in Greece and we hope that breeding pairs will increase and, why not, create new colonies elsewhere!
