Long-legged Buzzard show off

The Long-legged Buzzard is a widespread, though scarce, resident of Attica. As it is not usually perching in electricity posts, it is usually seen while flying high up in the sky. This time, however, a very beautiful adult bird offered me great views as it passed right above me before being mobbed by a Common Buzzard, at Vravrona Wetland.

LLBs are regular across Attica in winter

A very beautiful bird, the LLB is always a welcomed sight!

Common Buzzard are very easy to tell from the LLB, as this photo shows
