Birdwatching in Athens: First Yellow Wagtails have arrived at Vravrona Wetland!

The first Black-headed Yellow Wagtails Motacilla flava feldegg were seen today at flooded fields close to the wetland of Vravrona.

This race is always the first to arrive and is the only one that breeds in Greece. Other migrants seen today include a small group of House Martins, a pair of Little Ringed Plovers and three Green Sandpipers
