Waders party in Loutsa Lagoon!

More than 200 waders were gathered today at Loutsa Lagoon. Two big locks of Wood Sandipers (84 ), together with many other species (Little Stint, Temminck's Stint, Ruff, Greenshank, Spotted Redshank, Snipe, Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, . This is the biggest concentration of shorebirds that I have seen in this small wetland, which gets better and better every year, due to conservation (a simple fence just made a big difference)
