Ferruginous Sightings

This fall has given a lot of interesting Ferruginous Duck sightings. More than 30 birds were seen in a small coastal lake very close to Athens while a large flock of c.100 birds was seen in Stymfalia Lake, where the species is a very possible breeder. It seems that this species has shown marked signs of population increase. Let's hope that it will keep up the good work!
